GLASS SLIPPER PROJECT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2024

Dear Glass Slipper family,

It is with much sadness that we announce the Glass Slipper Project’s boutiques have been postponed until 2024 due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 and also to due to difficulty finding a suitable location at which to hold the boutiques.

While we know that thousands of high school students and their families have come to rely on Glass Slipper to provide students with beautiful gowns and thus help to ease the financial burden of Prom, we also know that our most important mission is to help preserve the health and safety of our students, parents and volunteers.  We feel that postponing the Boutiques is the best way to do that.

The guidance surrounding COVID-19 seems to be changing every day, so we will continue to monitor the situation to determine if it is feasible to hold the Boutiques at a later date this Spring.  We encourage you to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for further updates.

  • To the many volunteers who have already put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to unpack our tens of thousands of dresses, shoes, jewelry and accessories – we are humbled by the passion and commitment you show for Glass Slipper Project year after year.

  • To Jayne Boutique, Smitten Boutique and Zengeler Cleaners who collected thousands of dresses on our behalf and to the individuals who donated to Glass Slipper – we are grateful for your partnership and enthusiasm.

  • To Bradford & Gordon Family Law Attorneys for sponsoring our Jewelry Room and to Sennco for stocking our Makeup Room with full-size bottles of designer perfume – your support means the world to us and our students.

  • To Jet’s Pizza, who has already donated pizza for our volunteers and who had committed to donating for all our Boutiques, and to McDonald’s, who donated coffee – your generosity is deeply appreciated.

And to our students: not all heroes wear capes, and not all princesses wear gowns.  You are and will always be royalty in our eyes.

Stay safe and healthy,

The Board of the Glass Slipper Project
